Low Temperature Steel Flux Cored Wire
E81T1-K2C
According to AWS A5.29 E81T1-K2C
Application: This type of flux cored wire is suitable for welding of ships, Bridges, offshore platforms, pipelines, steel structures and so on.
Characters: This flux-cored wire is designed for all-position welding, making it versatile for various applications. It features a soft and stable arc that contributes to smoother operation and improved control. The wire produces minimal spatter, ensuring cleaner work areas and reducing the need for excessive post-weld cleaning. The resulting welds have an aesthetically pleasing appearance due to the excellent weld formation characteristics. Additionally, the wire demonstrates superior slag detachment, facilitating easier cleanup and enhancing overall efficiency. One of its key advantages is the reduced smoke emission, which contributes to a healthier working environment and better visibility during welding. The welding process is notably efficient, offering a stable and reliable performance across different welding conditions. The metal cladding of this wire is engineered to exhibit impressive impact toughness even at low temperatures, making it suitable for applications requiring durability and resilience in harsh environments.
Attention:
1. Wind barrier should be used when welding in windy place, which will cause porosity when the wind is strong.
2. In order to avoid cooling cracks in the weld, appropriate preheating can be carried out according to the steel grade and workpiece thickness, and the corresponding inter-track temperature can be controlled.
3. Preheating and interpass temperature during multi-pass welding:150±15℃
4. Rust, oil, moisture and other impurities must be removed from the weldment before welding.
5. Using CO2 gas welding, the purity must be greater than 99.8%, gas flow control at 20-25L/min
